My father chose very few people with whom to be friends and Ben was at the top of his list. I met Ben and Noreen when I was an annoying pre-teen, and look back with great fondness on Ben´s patience, kindness,and humor. We spent a weekend in Door County, Wisconsin with Ben, Noreen,and Colleen, and my parents and I stayed with them for several days on a trip we took to California in 1969. We are so sorry to hear about Ben passing away. We have so many sweet memories of our friendship with Ben and Noreen since the 1960's. We still reflect on our two families getting together for a fall trip to Door County, Wisconsin when your daughter was just a toddler. Ben had a wonderful sense of humor and joyful spirit which was shared with all who came in contact with him. We are grateful that you both were able to meet with us in 2016 and we will cherish all of those memories forever....
