Not sure what to say?

Dear Shirley and Family,

My heart goes out to all of you. Ben was, in the truest sense of the word, a "gentleman". He carried himself tall with dignity and respect. When I first met Ben, 10 years ago at a dinner event in Bellevue, he immediately made me feel comfortable and welcomed. He had a smile and warmth that made me feel as if I had known him for years. For those 10 short years, I feel fortunate to have called him my friend. He made an impact on me that will not be forgotten.

Mrs. Cozadd and family, I had the pleasure of meeting Bennett at Virginia Mason. He always had a smile of his face and happy to see everyone. I will miss him very much, and I am saddened to hear of his passing. Betsy Wolff RN

Dear Shirley, Family and all your friends. I'm sorry about your loss. I'll be thinking of you in the days and years to come. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all...

Dear Shirley, we were so sorry to learn of Ben's passing. He will be missed by all who knew him. We were fortunate to have been among his friends. He was a warm, friendly person to all. With sympathy, Neil & Maxine Duncanson

Shirley and Family -
Working with Ben was so much fun. He always walked in with a smile on his face and he was always so up beat. I will miss him dearly! May he be your "Angel in the Sky". Take Care! XO!!

Dear Shirley and Family.
On behalf of Ben's classmates at Harvard Business School, Section C, MBA 1970, I extend condolences. At HBS, we enjoyed Ben's incisiveness, his critical thinking skills, and his good sense of humor. In a simulation game in our first year, Ben was elected president of our company, which we named ZADDCO (Cozadd in reverse!). I was Ben's VP. His subsequent business career was emblematic of what is good about private enterprise. We were honored to have known Ben...

Shirley and family, What a terrible loss of such a lovely man! So generous with his smiles and time. We are so sorry for us all as he will be missed greatly.

Shirley..in thinking it over...I think one of the places I will miss Ben the most is the spur of the moment bridge games...as he kept track of the bid and kept the score...he was all deliberating...what to bid and what to play..he usually had good reason for the card played.... I will also miss having a delicious SKINNY COW with Ben...as we always exclaimed, we can not believe that they make anything so delicious for 100 calories!!!!!

Dear Shirley and Family, We are so very sorry to hear of Ben's passing. Our favorite memory of Ben was when we first met at Poet's Cove. Rob was running against him for Rear Commodore at the yacht club. With a big grin he flashed open his sports coat revealing a sign saying "Vote for Me!". You can't help but smile thinking about him, his gentle way and his wonderful smile. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. We'd vote for him anytime! Fondly,
Rob and Penny Sullivan
