Bennett C. Twombly Sr.

I had the privilege of serving two Navy tours of duty with Ben Twombly. The first was as a student under instruction in the GMS Dam Neck Submarine Weapons Officer course in 1963. Ben was a Fire Control Technician (Ballistic Missiles) First Class and was one of our instructors; and he was the best Navy instructor that I ever encountered.

To the family of Ben, All though I did not know him long, he was a husband who loved his wife so and spoke of his children when we talked, but most of all he was very nice to me and my sister Tracy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. We will miss his smile alot, Love his neighbors Nancy & Tracy
