bENNIE BUTLER

Amazing how it is now 2021 and Benny passed in 2012. It doesn't seem that long ago that we would visit with him at the Museum Center. He made the Museum's historical section so much more interesting. His smile was always welcoming to us. We use to go to the museum just so we could visit with him. Although we didn't know him outside of our museum visits, he made us feel like we were cherished friends. I think of him often and miss him.

my granddaughter Lily always looked forward to seeing "mr. dabney" and will be totally devastated when i tell her the news. bennie was a kind, thoughtful man who made you feel important. Lily and I will miss him sorely! We have lost a special man!

Bennie was - and still is - among the most wonderful people I have ever been fortunate enough to know. Even amidst all of this sadness, I have to smile when I think of him. I know we all smile when we think of him. Bennie wouldn't want it any other way!

To the family of Bennie Butler,
I heard the news today that your beloved father had passed. He was an amazing man. We will miss him. The only joy I can feel in this present moment is knowing that he is with Robbie again. I know that he missed her so much. God bless you all.

Bennie you have made so many lives better for having been even just a small part of them. You will be missed.

I met Bennie as a teenager 25 years ago. I will never forget how many laughs we've had! I'm glad to have shared a small portion of his contribution on earth. He will definitely be missed.

I didn't know Bennie but I wish I did!
