My uncle, My teacher, My friend - that is what Uncle Bennie is to our family. He took us to the skating ring so Wanda and Brenda could teach me to skate; he taught me how to swim/dive (which I failed the diving part!); and he was Danny's poker buddy on Thanksgiving Night(s). He was at EVERY special occassion in our lives & you could always count on him being at all the family events. I love you. There are so many memories. But the one I remember most is the day I got married. There I sat on my Uncle Bennies Knees with my wedding dress all over the front of us. We went to have cat fish not very long after that I will never forget that day. Uncle Bennie, Give everyone a hug for me.

A man who loved life, family (especially his wife), and the Marines Corps. He lived with honor, courage and commitment every day. I am honored to have known Uncle Bennie and hope that I will one day be able to enjoy my days as much as he did. He served his country proud, and now his country, his Marines Corps will pay their last respects to him.
With Love, Semper Fi and one last Hoorah for SSgt GIbson.
