I remember the Pep rallies in the auditorium where we cheered " Bubba Jennings got the ball and he's headed for the goal." Well Bubba, you've got the ball now and I know you'll make it home.

My deepest sympathies to Coach Jennings family. I was one of his many students that played for him and Coach Johnson, and that I spoked highly of as one of the great men in my life to help me become a man. I went to see him at the hospital and he still remembered me, which to me was an honor! I met one of his schoolmates in Vietnam with me named W/O Malcolm Guy and we talked of him even there. Rest in peace Coach!!!
