In preparation for a veteran's benefit walk I do over memorial Day weekend I walk a 10 mile route out and back from my house. on my backpack I carry a laminated poster with a photograph to honor soldiers who have died in the post 9-11 conflicts. The roads I walk are heavily traveled, so many people see the posters I carry with me. on January 4th I honored Sergeant Bennie J. Hey Bennie, just thinking about you today. Thinking of how many years have passed but how much your still thought of. I think of your sister and mom often and of your kids. I seen your sister put your daughter is now 21. Seems unreal but I guess my son is almost 18. I wonder if your mom or sister still have the wall hanging I made and sent them.
