Not sure what to say?

Oh My! It is very late to send condolences. However I knew Benny from Cleveland High School and his work on the Seattle Police Department. I decided to refer to FB and this notice came to my attention. May he continue to rest in peace.

I am sorry for your loss. Benny was a gentleman who was held in high esteem and respect by those that knew him. A rare quality in this day and age. Again, my sympathy.

My condolences to Felicia DePalmo and her family. I know he was a caring part of their lives.

Benny was one of the greastest guys I have ever met. He welcomed me into his Golf Fraternity with open arms and always made me feel as one of his "Bro's"..Some of the very best memories I will always cherish are our golf sebatical get togethers. He will forever be missed!!

Benny was a man of great integrity and love for his fellow man and community. I met him on the Golf course which was one of his passions and learned to love him as a brother instantly. I relished in his stories of his Seattle Police Department escapades and his humorous antics on the Golf course. I will miss him!
My prayers go out to him and his family.

I've only known Benny for about the last 10 or 11 years, but I sure loved to hear the "war stories" from this great old-school policeman. Thank you Benny for letting me play golf with you and your "old cronies" up in Sequim the past 10 years and including me as one of the guys...I was fortunate enough I got to play with you one last time last month, and I hope our little tournament continues on in your honor. I know you are looking down on us now, laughing as you play that big beautiful golf...

I played golf with Benny a few times and he was a real gentleman.
I enjoyed his sense of humor and easy manner. I pray for his loved ones that they may find peace in the memories they have of Benny.

Benny was both a fellow Cleveland High Alumnus and SPD member. His watch ended too soon, but he will be long remembered as a man of high character.

I had the great honor, and pleasure, of working with Benny in Homicide. He was such a great guy. Had a great sense of humor and great guy to tease. Whenever I was able to put one over him, he would responsd "Je-e-e-sus, Ila". He was loved by all who worked with him. We were all shocked when we got the sad news. Much too young to leave us. We will miss you, Benny.
