Bent Fabric

Bent was a big part of my late wife, Lise la Cour's and my own life. Bent made such wonderful, witty songs and had the patience to do Lise's children's ballets soundtracks, through-composed to every step in the performance.
I was just staggered! He was a Saint!
I only found out today of his passing. I only just got over Lise's passing.
Well I hope that the 'dream team' of Lise, Bent and Bjorn Wiinblad, the soul, music and art of Lise's children's ballets at the Royal Theatre...

Deepest condolences to the Fabric family, many, many friends, colleagues and fans. Mr. Fabric won a Grammy Award for best rock ‘n’ roll recording for “Alley Cat,” though it was a bigger hit on easy listening radio than with rock fans. It is a great song that many will NEVER be forgotten. May the God of comfort bless your grieving hearts with strength, loving kindness and peace as the world copes with loss of Mr. Bent Fabric. May his music keep his memory alive forever.

At the age of 15, "Alley Cat" was my favorite song and still is!!!! I have my little 45 record of "Alley Cat", along with all my other favorites of that era!!!! I was so saddened to hear of Bent Fabric's passing - his music was electric!!!! Thank you Mr. Fabric, you will be missed!!!! Condolences to the family and friends!!!! Walk in sunshine!!!!
