Mr. Minor was a consummate professional, leader, and innovator. I'm honored to have had him as a teacher and as an influence in my life; he will be sorely missed. My sympathy and best wishes to his family, friends, and many students.

Mr. Minor was my band teacher in my junior year at Grossmont High School in La Mesa, Ca. I graduated in the class of 56 and really missed him when he was transferred to El Cajon High School in my senior year. Mr. Minor was fresh out of USC with a teaching degree around that time and he was one heck of a Tuba Player. We loved him cause he was "just one of us kids". We took home a lot of trophies those two years at Grossmont he was with us. What a guy ! My deepest sympathies to his...
