This is a sad day I remember Ms. Gilbert like it was yesterday y'all know every Friday was a good day because she gave us popcorn LOL she will be missed truly a great teacher

Mrs. Gilbert was my 3rd grade teacher. The best, and realist teacher I've ever had. I rememeber telling Mrs. Gilbert," I gotta' go to the restroom." And her reply was," You ain't gotta do a thing, but stay black and die!" That stuck with me forever because of the truth behind it. She will always b truly miss. A legend indeed.

To the Gilbert Family,
I heard about the passing of my dear friend Bernadette, and I remember her as such a beautiful person who always reached out to help everyone.
Please know that I reach out to all of you with love and prayers, letting you know that I too will miss her.
Her soul lives on with us, through God. Cherish always your memories of her as a beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. May God keep you in his care.

Your wife and Mother was such a beautiful and giving LADY. We loved her so much but our father God loved her more. I know you will miss her. We will miss her also. But the good thing is she will remain in our hearts forever. May God continue to walk with all of you during your time of sorrow.

Mrs. Gilbert, I will always remember you as the true image of a lady, a woman and most of all, a living example of a role model and loving mother. You have truly made a positive impact on me and those that surround me. My heart was really shattered at the news of losing you and while no longer here physically, I know you are always with me. I will always remember you as my "mother," and I am proud to have you call me your "son." I will always love you, miss you and never forget you.
