Not sure what to say?

Three years since my bestie has been gone - but she is on my mind often. No matter how much I miss her, I have to be glad her battle didn't last 30 years like her mom's did. Every year I pray that Alzheimer's can be stopped in it's tracks!

I will always remember Bernadette and her vibrant spirit. It illuminated every room she entered, casting warmth and joy upon all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness knew no bounds, and her compassion touched the lives of countless souls, mine included.

A kind, easy going, non pretentious, outdoorsy, easy to be with friend and in my category one of the best - of all the people I have met and befriended in life. Belated condolences to family. I knew her in Klamath Falls during the years - approximately 1978-79. I met her climbing MT. Shasta and we explored the OR Cascades and coast together for a time before I moved away to another part of the country.

Hard to believe my friend of 59 years is gone....but I have no doubt she is in heaven and those darn headaches are no more! Rest easy, my friend. I´ll see you again someday.

So sorry to of Bernies passing. I lost touch with her after school, but have have thought of her often over the years. Bernie was such a sweet, kind girl to everyone. She had a generous heart for others and really cared about them. I remember her beautiful, contagious smile and OMG those fabulous curls! Most of all her kindness and willingness to offer a shoulder to lean on. Glad to know she had a wonderful life and was surrounded by people that loved her.

So sorry to hear of Bernie’s passing. Growing up on Glenwood seems like ages ago but I have such found memories of the Grundman family and all our neighbors. May your fond, positive memories of Bernie fill your hearts and may God’s peace and loving arms wrap around each of you.

Bernadette was always so kind. My condolences to the family.

Awe bernie your friends and extended family from emerson will miss you always but live wild and free again you deserve it....
