Bernie was a very special person to me and I'm sure to the many others who knew her,especially those in the Property & Casualty Insurance community.

Bernie will be missed by all of us. A wonderful giving, loving person that was a model for us to follow.

Bernie was one of the most selfless women that ever lived. I will remember her example and her willing spirit always. Her ready smile and easy way was a joy. She will be missed, but she taught us all a lot.
