Not sure what to say?

Bernie,

It's been seven years and I still think of you every time I go to the beach and pass your house. I go and sit on your bench and think of all the wonderful times we had together.

I miss you,

Penny

Feels like I lost a sister, new her at a young age and feel very sorry for her passing.

I am not sure anyone in her family will see this anymore, but I just wanted to write and tell her survivors how saddened I was to learn that Bernadette passed 6 years ago. We were friends from Marymount College and she was a bridesmaid of mine years ago at my wedding. I am very sorry for her passing and illness. She was such a wonderful, happy, fun, and great friend in college and for many years afterwards. WE lost contact years ago after I moved abroad for several years.
I ran...

A hero in our midst. That's what I call my friend, Bernadette. After a shocking diagnosis of kidney cancer, my friend raged a furious battle with the enemy. Her mind, body and spirit raged war. She was so courageous that words cannot express my admiration for her. She was brave, strong and always positive and I admire her greatly. I have never met someone so positive every day despite the battles she faced. She was an example of bravery, strength and positive attitude and is my hero....

My beautiful friend Bernadette. It has been 5 years today since your passing and I think of you often. Your spirit lives on in so many people whose lives you have touched. You were always such a wonderful friend to me and my family. Your bright smile and optimistic way will always remain in my heart. You have a beautiful spirit that lives on eternally in heaven. Until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand. Love to you, your friend, Mary

I was saddened to come across Bernie's passing anouncment. I remembered her since the 1970's when she was still at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. She then was a beautiful young lady and friend. I had a lot of good times with her and will always remember her laugh and smile. I lit a candle at the chapel at Marymount University for her memory.

I worked with her many years ago....I was 19 years old
Cadwallader Wickersham & Taft.
Today she came to my spirit .....Googled her and came upon this site....
Her Spirit BEAUTIFUL...SHE WAS BEAUTIFUL.....IMPECCABLE BERNADETTE.....May God Bless her and her family ......Amen

Bernadette gave me my very first job - and was a warm and wonderfully kind mentor to a young person right out of school. She and her cousin were lovely friends to me during those first few years of working, and our walks from the office to the NJ trains were always filled with the best, high spirited laughter in the world. Always treasured, never forgotten. What a joy to have known Bernadette! xxoo

I miss you Bernadette abd will find you one day in heaven, love isa
