My memories of Bernadette will always be of a charming and gracious lady. A forty-six year friendship that began in my youth and lasted through her final recognition's.
She embraced my family and extended her gentle kindness whenever we met; we shall miss her humor and the joy she brought us.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her children.
