Bernadette "Bernie" Toomey

Thinking of dear Bernie today. Brought a smile & a tear. She was such a wonderful person!!

Bernie was a member of my HUGE extended family! Since my childhood, Bernie & Bud were always part of the "gang" of cousins, second cousins, even third cousins, who loved gathering together to have SO much fun! Her brilliant smile, her wacky sense of humor and her enormous capacity to love, set her apart from ordinary people! I remember catching up with her when I was living in North Quincy & she lived in Squantum. We spent and hour just chatting & laughing... (we were both pretty good at...

I spent many fun times with Mrs Toomey including vacationing with the family.

a wonderful, thoughtful person who I had the pleasure of knowing since my childhood.

Sad news to hear another lSquantum neighbor has passed. I’m happy fir Bernie that she lived a long, happy and productive life. My condolences to the Toomey Family and relatives.
