Not sure what to say?

Bernie, -- State Representative Agrons, I will always remember, from our work on the Oregon law to divest from apartheid South Africa - Nambia in 1985 and 1987. The law was passed in Oregon House of Representatives in 1985, and enacted in 1987. Bernie was an inspiration. He was a brilliant business executive. Very thoughtful. When the decision came, of money or human rights and human dignity, Bernie cast his vote for the dignity of all, not financial investment in a caste system of...

Bernie had time to listen and provide advice when asked. Always a source of interesting stories without taking all the credit. An inspiration for me and a person I shall always remember.

With deepest sympathy to the Agrons family during your time of grief. God is for you a refuge and strength. A help that is there to be found during difficult times. May God provide you with peace and comfort to endure the days ahead.

Dear Bernie, R.I.P. We'll all miss you!

Bernie sounds like a loving and hard working servant of the community. We could all benefit from examples like this. It reminds me of 1 Tim. 6:18, as we are encouraged " be liberal and ready to share". In our communities, if we could all be as be as willing to share our time and resources to help someone else when possible, perhaps we could leave a lasting example/legacy behind as well.

Bernie was a good friend and neighbor, I first met bernie on a ride with the high desert trail riders BCH. And liked him right off, then several years later became neighbors with him, and had several visits with him as he would walk up to his mailbox and his two dogs right along with him. we give our condolences to the family.and will miss him. I fondly remember working with Bernie at the Oregon Legislature..I always found him to be honest and aboveboard in all of his dealings..Our current political process could do with more Bernie Agrons!..Irv Fletcher
