We remember Bernie from our years at Temple and our working for Sidney Kowit. I still remember your wedding at Temple Sinai. Bernie was a good guy and a good friend. We lost touch as we have been living in San Diego for 40 years. Have comfort in the goodness that he gave to everyone.

Words cannot express the sadness when I learned of Dr. Albert's passing. He was the father I never had. He was one in a million and I will forever remember him in my prayers everyday. He was a great boss and a fine man and always the gentleman. The one thing that I will always be glad for is the dream that I had and the remembering of your phone number. It must have been my guardian angel that told me to see how you guys were doing. I will cherish our last conversation together 6 days...

To Flossie and family, Cape May will never be the same with the loss of Bernie. I remember quite well our initial meeting for a shiva call for my mother back in 1975. Marie was looking for any names that sounded Jewish in our registration files. She took a gamble and instant friendship was created.
