Bernard Arrington, 76, of Stephens, died Saturday, May 11, 2002. Born February 21, 1926, he was the son of Albert and Vida Arrington. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Grady Arrington and a sister, Louise Booker. He was a member of the Stephens Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the Korean War and owner of Bernard’s Auto Supply in Stephens.
Survivors include his wife, Melba Arrington; three daughters, Linda (Duncan) Grayson of Stephens, Diane (Phil) Keith of Magnolia and Kellie (Jim) Young of Salem; five grandsons; two granddaughters; one niece; and two nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Stephens Church of Christ with Jerry Arrington officiating. Burial will be in the Stephens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his sons-in-law, Duncan Grayson, Phil Keith, and Jim Young and three of his grandsons, Shane Grayson, Ty Keith, and Troy Keith.
