Ed, Ken, George, and Cathy, Carol and I write to express our sadness and heartfelt condolences. Your father was always loving, bright, talented, cheerful, and a down to earth class act. He and his father were inspirational to me in my abilities with all things electrical and mechanical. Bernie a role model for me in my career with IBM as an electrical and software engineer. I became a Ham radio operator at an early age and started repairing all things like radios and TVs as a young man and...

My sincere sympathies for the Becker family during this time of loss. Bernie was an excellent Uncle and an inspiration. I always enjoyed when my parents would take us to visit. He was so kind and reserved. Yet so knowledgeable about things. I especially liked seeing his latest auto rebuild. And his guitars and amplifiers were so cool. I will always have fond memories of Bernie, his smile and the fun times at the pool when he would visit. RIP and thank you Bernie for being a Great Uncle!

I remember Bernie from working with him from time to time and from our IBM meetings. He was such a nice, "down to earth" and "easy going" person. RIP Bernie

Sorry to hear of Bernie's passing. I met Bernie in my early days with IBM and enjoyed working with him for several years in the Pentagon and several other IBM accounts in Washington D.C.. After we parted ways I would run into him at seminars or conventions and we would catch up with what was going on in our lives. He will definitely be missed by all.
