I am so deeply saddened to learn of Bernie's passing from this unforgiving illness. It's very possible that the last time I saw him (and you) was at Joe's 1979 wedding. I am so glad I had the opportunity to get my BIG hug from you,last week at the Y, and chit chat about old times! I will forever cherish all the great long runs we all had together,especially the day we decided to run 2 races back to back...you remember,we ran the Stanley Park 5K then ran the Sarah Beth 10k!!!! We were crazy...lol

My condolences and prayer's to Bernie's Family...Many Friend's n 'Buzzy'..I meet Bernie from hanging out at The Dutchmen's in 1969.Alway's smiling,laughing.He got along with everyone.I rode shotgun in the winter of 70' plowing for the WPW.Great driver.Bernie would sometimes give a resident a qwick driveway plow..That's how he was.Helpful...R.I.P. Great Man Bernie.
