I'm so sorry to hear about Bernie's passing. He was such a wonderful, kind-hearted person. I am so glad I was able to visit with him on my last trip in May "back home" to Clio. He will be missed by so many.

So sorry!God has another angel! I remember Bernie and Betty well. Such a lovely couple. My dead, Rev. Thomas Jackson, and
Bernie are enjoying many memories today. Dad was pastor of Trinity Methodist Church in Clio and later member of Bethany UMC as was I. May God surround Bernie's family and friends with many angels to comfort you. God bless.

To all the Borden family,
Bernie was a joyful man who gave from the heart, no matter what he was doing. I knew him from being from Clio & my parents often went to his pharmacy. Then, years later, I got to work with him at the Genesee Co. Free Medical Clinic, where he shared his expertise to help many people. He was well liked in many areas & Heaven's gain is now our loss, but only for a while. God be with you all & give you comfort.

Bernie Borden "Mr. Clio" was a great man who has left a wonderful Legacy behind. He was larger than life and lived it to the fullest. He touched so many of our Lives in a positive loving way, during his time here on Earth. Now that he has left us may all the beautiful memories be a blessing to all he touched during his time here. The heavens have to be rejoicing. As we say goodbye for now Thank you Bernie for all your teachings you will never be forgotten. We love you

Rest in peace Bernie! You will be sadly missed by everyone at the Genesee County Free Clinic. Thanks for all the encouragement that you provided along with the humor that was always present. Sincerely, Will Taylor

I first met Bernie just before the drug store opened...1966? A consummate nice guy that always had time to talk to friends and customers. Bernie would put a poster in the front window with pictures of all the graduating seniors from Clio High School. I was sweet on a gal and talked Bernie into rearranging the pictures so that mine and the girl's pictures were side by side. It was a lot of work moving the alphabetical arrangement to accommodate my request, but not too much for Bernie. I'll...
