I'm so sorry to hear about Bernie's passing. He was such a wonderful, kind-hearted person. I am so glad I was able to visit with him on my last trip in May "back home" to Clio. He will be missed by so many.

Bernie was a joyful man who gave from the heart, no matter what he was doing. I knew him from being from Clio & my parents often went to his pharmacy. Then, years later, I got to work with him at the Genesee Co. Free Medical Clinic, where he shared his expertise to help many people. He was well liked in many areas & Heaven's gain is now our loss, but only for a while. God be with you all & give you comfort.

Bernie Borden "Mr. Clio" was a great man who has left a wonderful Legacy behind. He was larger than life and lived it to the fullest. He touched so many of our Lives in a positive loving way, during his time here on Earth. Now that he has left us may all the beautiful memories be a blessing to all he touched during his time here. I first met Bernie just before the drug store opened...1966? A consummate nice guy that always had time to talk to friends and customers. Bernie would put a poster in the front window with pictures of all the graduating seniors from Clio High School. I was sweet on a gal and talked Bernie into rearranging the pictures so that mine and the girl's pictures were side by side.
