Not sure what to say?

A total gentleman, who helped us greatly as a group of Irish placement students in 1996-1997 in Reno. I will never forget the kindness of Barney and his lovely wife Marj and their son Stewart. They really welcomed us and made us feel at home in Reno. RIP to one of the best people I ever knew or will ever know. RIP. B/w Gerard.

WE HAD THE PLEASURE OF MEETING BARNEY THRU OUR IRISH FRIENDS IN RENO. OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH HIS FAMILY. ANYONE WHO MET BARNEY LEFT KNOWING HOW PROUD HE WAS TO BE IRISH, AND HOW WONDERFULLY HE REPRESENTED THE IRISH.

Dear Brady Family,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. So sorry for your loss.

When I think of W. B. Yeats urging his readers to cherish their “indomitable Irishry”, I instantly consider my friend ‘Barney’ for nobody I have known represented our country of origin better.

Dear Brady Family,
I offer my sincere condolences.
I am very glad I got to meet you when I was in Reno visiting my Cousin Sean McGuinness. My prayers are with each and every one of you. Sherry Goodall

Dearest Marge & Family: We were devastated to learn of the passing of our old friend, Barney. It is with great fondness that we recall the times we spent together at your home enjoying the barbecue and a glass of wine while listening to Barney recite the poems that he learned in Ireland and tell the wonderful stories about his interesting life. He will be greatly missed by all who were privileged to know him. Our deepest sympathy and may God keep him in His care.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
