I worked with Dr. Burke back in the late 80s-early 90s when doctors still treated their own patient that were admitted to the hospital. He was one of the nicest and easiest to work with! Always had a smile on his face! I have not been able to work for years and was looking for a lume disease doctor. Thought of him and BAM! He has been gone for 11 years! May God have you on his arms!

Hard to believe it has been NINE years since we lost Bernie at only age 57! Long before his MD career, h,e and I were best friends in Minersville High, spent a large part of our youth together, and both were quite mischievous to say the least. I just heard about Dr. Burke's passing, I was shocked! I was sick for years and finally I went to Dr. Burke and he diagnosed me with Lyme. My sympathy goes out to his wife and children. Heaven has another wonderful angel! Love you Dr. B!
