Bernard B. "Bud" Burns

I worked with B.B. Burns, for many years, at the old Denver Post building in downtown Denver. I will always remember him, He was one of my favorite persons their.
He was really a Great Human Being.
I know he will be missed.

So many treasured memories of the days at the Triple B. Remember so well Bud's unending patience in telling Kim about each and every rock and Bud paying the kids for dead flies. Jan and Bud made such lasting impressions and a visit to the ranch was restorative medicine for the body and the spirit. Think of those days and you all more often than you could imagine. May our "Happy Trails" meet again. Bud take care of things until we get there.

Oh, Bud--you are missed.
I remember you watching your Westerns on tv, explaining that you had been involved with many a western production.
I remember you would sit pretty quiet in the back seat of the car as Jan talked away (mostly giving me directions!). I liked driving you, and I missed that time together.
I enjoyed getting to know you, although, how I missed that you were at Pearl Harbor--I dunno'... I suppose that it was because you were most proud of your Ranch. I see that...

Triple B,
Many summers spent at the ranch with many memories. Memories that are held dear, such memories that I share with my family still today.I will miss you, but will always carry you in my heart. Peace be with you my friend.

To the Boo Burns Family,
We love you guys. You are in our thoughts and prayers. You are truly wonderful people, and we are blessed to have you in our lives.

Triple B, The memories created by Bud and his family will remain forever in the hearts of all who spent summers at the Triple B Ranch. The legacy of love and compasion for strangers was always evident with Bud and Jan. You have made us who we are in so many ways. While our world is grieving, God is surely rejoiceing. Thanks for the memories;0)

Grandpa,
I wish I had known you better, and that my kids and my grand-daughter could have known what a fine man you were. I will keep your memory alive, the years at the ranch growing up are very memorable.

Family of Bud,
Our Manitou Springs High School 1962 graduation dinner was held at the Triple B, and we've enjoyed other events there through the years. Bud made these events happen with excellence and enjoyment. May God comfort and encourage each of you on this journey.
