Read MoreI had the honor of meeting Mr. Chartier (call me Bernie) just this past December. In my one short encounter I knew I had met a wonderful person. He graced us with a song on his violin and played a tune on the piano. My only regret is that I hadn't met met him years ago so I would have more than this one fond memory of this very sweet man.

I have known Bernie for many years.He came to my dads auto parts store, and also to the Napa store in Brooklyn that I now work at. He was just a truly nice person to talk to. All the best to the family.Michael Bernard
