In more than four decades of writing stories about fascinating and wonderful people, Bernie was right up there at the top of my list. He was genuine and warm-hearted. Im so glad I got to know him a little bit. He was a prince.

Our condolences to The Connors family on the loss of their Bern. Already a legend but here is a short story on how he impacted our lives. We met at a Father/Son night at the Albany Academy many years back. During our conversation he asked "what are you doing to make a living?"
