Don and Barbara, Thank you for being a friend to my father. Doc talked of you and the Employment Security family until the end of his life, which was so much richer because of people like you and the work you accomplished together.

I, too, started work in Mr. Donlon's unit in 1980, and I am "still at it" 28 years later. He was always willing to help me, and he helped me to learn much about the work I continue to do. Doc, you will be missed...Don Crow.

I first started working for Mr. Donlon almost 40 years ago and he taught me everything he had to share about Unemployment Insurance. My journey first started with him and now 40 years later I am still working with the US Department of Labor in Boston, MA. I loved "Mr. D" as we called him and I am so thankful for having known him. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time and somehow I just bet he will still be giving good advice in heaven! I will always remember him! ...
