DOSWELL, Bernard W., formerly of Fulton, departed this life, June 26, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Doswell; two daughters, Diane Doswell Roane and Lauren Doswell Crews (Jonathan); two sons, Bernard W. Doswell Jr. (Virginia) and Charles E. Doswell (Angel); three sisters, Florence D. Diamond, Marjorie D. Addison and Aurelia D. Corbin; four brothers, Vincent (Glorine), Clifford, Garland and Julian (Brenda) Doswell; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St., where the family will receive friends Tuesday (today) from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2 p.m. at Matthews Lutheran Church, Meherrin, Va. Interment in the church cemetery.
