Bernard Eckstein Obituary
Born March 11, 1938 Mansfield, Ohio to Mary Catherine (Shuckhart) and Bennett Franklin Eckstein.
Bernard attended Newark high school, served four years in United States Air force from 1957, graduated from Franklin University. Retired CEO of Scriptel, served in management of Landco Development Columbus area. He enjoyed raising and racing Standardbred horses. Member of Knights of Columbus and United States Trotting Association.
Bernard was preceding in death by his father and mother, sisters Jeannine, Barbara, Diana, brother Bennett. He is survived by brothers William (wife Teresa) of Dallas, Texas and John (wife Frances) of Lewis Center, Ohio half-bother Paul Foreman (wife Shannon). Nieces Anita (husband Matt) Schonhuitt, Felicia Eckstein, Leona Binkley, and nephew Scott Eckstein (wife Ashley Marie).
