Not sure what to say?

Having known Bernie for probably close to 40 years and there can't be a more genuine person that I have ever met. He definitely was a true friend, mentor and will be missed by all.

Bernie was my boss at Hoffman Ford he was the best RIP!

As children and neighbors, my husband Denny & Bernie were friends with vast memories of boyhood fun. In high school when Bernie needed help getting to the 2nd floor of our school, Denny would carry him up & down the steps on his shoulder. Denny was a strong young guy. Later in their lives, they got together for Penn State games & spent time regularly with friends until Denny died in 2010. So many lifetime memories. Condolences to the family. Bernie ~~ An unforgettable guy who touched so...

So very sorry to hear of the passing of Bernie we went to Lower Paxton High together. He was a great person and friend.Very sad day when we were told he had polio and that it was s severe. My husband and I would see Bernie and Larry Meinsler at the former Colonial Lounge quire often June Thompson Magnelli

Wendy and family, I think you know how much I'm gonna miss Bernie. We were great friends for fifty years, could always count on each other, and had lots of fun together. He was an amazing man, and lived a full life despite his disability, and no one ever heard him complain. Penn State football, Williams Grove, the Casino, the old Sheraton and Colonial Lounge (where I met him). Wonderful guy, and I don't know anyone who didn't love him! Peace to you and your family.

My sympathy to you Wendy and your family. Bernie was an awesome man! He was an inspiration to so many! Using crutches all those years and doing all he did was amazing. We have so many great memories growing up and going to the Penn State football games all together. He will be so missed by my parents and family. He lived a good long life...Sue

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.
