Not sure what to say?

Think of Bernie often. Splendid fellow

The lilac cuttings he gave are now trees with blossoms that sing out his beautiful presence.

I met Bernie when I was 16 he was 19, he was double dating with my older sister's best friend. Met again at NSFIA we were dear friends.
Corresponded all the way through his deployment to Nam. Saw him
and hung out after his return. We discussed his desire to move to
California, I told him to follow is heart, he did. Lost contact shortly
after the move but he's held a warm place in my heart and always will.

I was shocked to learn of Bernie's passing on the 29th of December, 2015, just yesterday. Bernie was a friend, client, and exemplary human being. He will live on in my heart forever. I will fulfill at least one of his donation requests out of respect. He delivered my mail for several years after I had first moved to Sausalito in 1978, and I always looked forward to a lively chat with him. I wish your family well. Know that he was highly regarded by all those whose lives he touched.

So sad to hear of Bernie's passing. I was hoping to have you as a neighbor, Bernie. Your love of the arts would be much appreciated in the little town of Cloverdale.

Bernie was everyones friend! He will be missed by ALL.

I will so miss our impromptu chats! You are a dear soul. My sympathies to your family

What a wonderful spirit. Hope to touch base again...somewhere.

..he brightened up my days so often. A beautiful person, a great loss to so many who knew him casually, I cannot imagine the full extent of his loss must mean to Tom and the Feeney family.
