Bernie and I were great friends in our early years in Springfield, MA. Our respective lives, careers and travels took us on different paths for many years. After many years we reconnected and reminisced about old times. I´ll always consider him a true buddy. I wish his caring wife, Rayisha, the best in the healing process and I know that that Fitz (i.e. Bernie )is in a still better place making more new friends.
