My Dad Nick Garreffi and husband Gary worked with Bernie at Oakland St. Heaven does indeed have a great fire department and I know Gary and his brothers gave him a big welcome.

My condolences to the Gustafson family. I consider myself lucky to have known Bernie for 30+ years. Such a great guy who will be missed. He always had a smile, a joke or a word of encouragement & 'Gus' made the best damn Sunday brunch Bloody Mary in town! RIP Bernie....from a fellow former SFD brother
