Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time

I worked for Bernie when I was 16 years old on the steam bottle washer in the dairy on Easttown rd. Bernie gave me my first real summer job, had faith in me and taught me a work ethic that has lasted my whole life. He forgave me when I ruined a whole double rack of glass bottles. I will never forget that. He was always kind and fair with me. He will always have my respect. The family has my sympathies for their loss, but I know where Bernie is now.

So sad to hear of your dad's passing. The last time we saw him was at that Oak Harbor fair with Our dad. Will always remember the good times they had showing ponies.

My father Hubert Love and I had many great memories of sharing time with Bernie and Scot both in the barns and show arena . We always loved showing with you because we knew learning to compete with the best competitors would teach us to become better too. Hubert has gone on to be with the Lord . But my wife Lesley and I still love coming to the State Fair to watch your family compete . We consider the time we have been able share with Bernie and Scot a blessing . Rex Baxter and I were just...

How we loved to visit Aunt Pat and Uncle Bernie. No matter how busy he was, he always made time to take us "city slickers" for a pony ride. He would walk down to the dairy to get cream and make us fresh ice cream. He was a good and gentle man who will live on in my memory.

Mr Hefnr
visited the wife and I 54 yrs ago , one week after we were married, he gave us a gallon of milk and ask us to let his company deliver to us, I am sure he did this to all newlyweds in Lima area .What a great business man RIP.
