My deepest sympathy to Bernie's wife and family. Bernie has been a mentor and friend to me both in business and in my personal life over the past 24 years that I have known him. He is a big part of why I am who I am today. Bernie will always be remembered and hold a place in my heart like a family member. In his lifetime he had forgotten more than I will ever know...God bless Bernie and family.

My heart goes out to all of Bernie's friends and family. I'm lucky enough to have known Bernie for around Ten years. We went on a trip together to Iowa a few years back. I was one of the privileged people that worked for Mr. Bernie Herbage, PE. He was my mentor and my role model. He was a knowledgeable man, with the will to teach others. I will miss him and I am deeply saddened by his sudden death.
I will never forget you Sir, you will be forever in my heart and mind.
