Lisa - How grateful I am for Laura's detailed account of your father's truly amazing life! Of course, I had heard portions of this from you over the years - but to have the entire, impressive quilt of his life pieced together and the patterns displayed . . . well, it's clear you and your sibs are your father's offspring! You have much to cherish in your memories of him and you are a wonderful legacy of which I know he was proud. You must miss him very much. So glad you have one another.

I pray our Lord will bring you comfort and hold you all close in his arms. He was an amazing man from the Greatest Generation.
