Not sure what to say?

Our fathers were good friends. My dad insisted I contact your dad when I was traveling to DC. Thankfully, I did and my husband and I were able to spend an extraordinary evening with him and Aliceanne. My dad has passed and I now see that his beautiful friend has left this life as well. Im sure hes in the hands of God. With very belated condolences to you.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

May the family find strength and peace from the God of all comfort during this time.

This was the most impressive MAN. I feel
inspired by reading about his life.
A true HERO.

I am beyond proud to have called this man my Great-Uncle. I will treasure my memories of him forever.

To the family of Bernard Hillenbrand;
(Jeremiah 29:11) reminds us that God's true thoughts are of peace for us, not pain. May reflection on his goodness comfort you during this most difficult time.

So sorry for your loss. Psalms 145:18,19 provides a wonderful and comforting promise.

I did not know Bernie, but this is a wonderful obituary. My condolences to your family on the loss of an amazing man. It sounds as if his friends and family appreciated him during his lifetime, which is always a blessing.
