Ben was a very dear friend to me and my husband. Even after our spouses died we saved quarters and spoke often. I will miss him. Found out to late sorry I miss mass but my deepest thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. We spent a lot of time and years together.

Selfishly, I am sad as I look at the 57th anniversary picture of Ben and Trudy, knowing I will never be able to talk to Ben again. But I know he is smiling down on us and hearing and seeing everything around him. I'm sure he is having sweet conversation with his beloved wife, now that they are joined in heaven. I am so very sorry to hear of your dear Dad's passing. He was such a vital part of all our efforts to make Saint Sylvester Church a beautiful house of Our Lord's worship and praise. I always looked forward to seeing your Dad at Mass - and you and your Mom as well - and can only shout out THANK YOU DEAR GOD for the blessings, wisdom and knowledge that your father demonstrated and shared with us at the church. May God grant him eternal rest in heaven!

My deepest condolences to Ben's family. Ben is one of the finest men I have ever known and I was fortunate enough to be his friend for the last few years.
My family has known the Hoste's for many years. Mom and Dad used to spend New Years Eve with Ben and Trudy and other couples. They had such fun together.
