Not sure what to say?

I remember Bernard from childhood in Schenectady. We shared a lovely lady as our Aunt Mary, his mother's sister and my uncle Hank's wife. It sounds like he had a full and happy life. Rest in peace Bernie. Cousin Louise

I have so many memories of times with Bernie it would take days to recount them all. Times spent working together at GE, working with him in his garage in Mt. Pleasant and working with him on one of his many home expansions and projects. I knew him as a coworker, friend and family man. He was great at all of them. We did a lot of growing up and learning together and given some of our adventures I´m amazed we made it! You will be missed my friend. I´m sorry I couldn´t be there today for your...

Lisa, I'm sorry for your loss. Your father was a very special man. I hope that you and your family get threw this hard time with love from those who's lives you've touched, your family and all the great memories of your Dad.

Tim Soehl-you said it Best! RIP Bernie!

Bernie was an amazing person. He lived a life we can all aspire to, but few can accomplish. Besides being a successful business man, he never knew the words "I can't". If we wanted a part for his car he found a way to design and make it. When he wanted a workshop he dug out a whole floor under his house and set the metal support girders himself. He was an amazing story teller and an amazing man. The world is at a loss without him here. He is the father of my son's beautiful "Bernie Strong"...

Theresa, I'm so sorry about your Dad--I had no idea. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family now. Peace to you all.

What a loss, Bernie was one of the good ones. I'm sure that if there are rod runs in heaven he and Billy will find it. Lots of great memories.RIP. Tim & Ann Soehl North Carolina
