We would like to extend our deepest regrets on the passing of Mr. Karlin. Our dad, Arthur Albert, who passed away in March of 2002, was a referree with Mr. Karlin many years ago in the NYA Little League Basketball program. Please accept our condolences on the death of Bernard.

Kristine,
I am very sorry for your loss. Your father was a very unique and special person. The world would be a better place with more people like your father.

My condolences to the family. Mr. Karlin was such an inspirational leader and I learned so much from him. I always appreciated his joie de vivre. Our Family Guidance Center newsletter was the work of two kindred souls. We enjoyed creating each issue as if it were the first. I will remember him always and he will be missed by many.

My deepest sympathy to you all! He gave me the opportunity to work for him at Montefiore and I will never forget how good he was to me. He will forever be in my heart.

Dear Kathy and Family,
Only wonderful thoughts of a wonderful man who affected so many children and educators in such a positive way!
He will be missed by many. He truly is one of special influences of my life.
My heart goes out to you.

Sincerely,

In fond memory of a great leader, teacher and principal. He will be greatly missed. He touched so many lives in the field of education. He will always be remembered for his dedication and contributions.

I fondly remember working with Mr. Karlin when he arrived at the Key School. He was the BEST principal I have ever known in 34 years with the Chgo Bd of Ed. He mentored me while he was at Montefiore to assist in my Administration quest. He will be missed.
