Bern was an extraordinary man who appreciated the little things in life with a quiet passion... and a crooked smile. He thrived on challenging his mind and became a veritable fountain of knowledge. He knew when he had found the right woman. He married his Kitty, and they were good together. And so were their kids. All of them. I will carry my dad in my heart for the rest of my life. He was the kindest and wisest man I will ever know. He truly loved my mother, me and all of my brothers and sisters. We will all miss him terribly.
