Hey, I know I'm way passed to say something about him, but we used to be friends a long long time ago. We lost touch a long time ago! I just now heard and I am deeply sorry for your loss!!

Dear Helen and family: On behalf of the Abbott family we offer our deepest sympathies. Regrettably, we only knew of Bernie from afar (our father, Jim Abbott, was Bernie’s cousin). May our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, strengthen and comfort you all during this time.

Bernie was one of the creative geniuses at Universal Studios when I was working there in the late 70's and thru the 80's. What a nice guy to know and work with. The variety of shows he worked on is incredible. What a loss. My sympathy is with you.

It is with fondness that we remember Bernie. Our prayers and sympathies are with you. Maureen and Paul.

Bernie's nice family is a tribute to his life as a husband and father. We are saddened by his passing.
