Joan and Family, I was sad to read of Bernie's passing, but it sounds like he may now be resting and no longer fighting a dreaded disease. I have many fond memories of Bernie, you all, Carol, etc. while I was your neighbor. Bernie was always the first one to give me guidance, support and praise when I did something to improve my lawn. Hello Mrs Laduke , i'm very sorry to hear about Bernie, he was one of the happiest type i was happy to be friends with, i worked with Bernie for 17 years at the postal sevice, i had missed him an awful lot ever since he retired, he always had a wide grin and a warm and friendly approach. I had both the privilege and pleasure of knowing Bernie in the late 60's when I attended JD and he was the driver of the bus that I rode. Bernie knew all of us by name and always had a smile for us. The world is a nicer place for the blessing of Bernie's presence. Rest in peace!

Joan, Denise, Mark and Yvonne, you know I am always here. I loved Bernie and all the wonderful memories we have had over the years. We will have tears of sadness in missing him so, and smiles and laughs with all of our funny times. Those are what keep him right with us, and he is - in our hearts. Remember, love is always there, nothing can break that. And Bernie knew we all loved him and he loved us. We share his memory until we meet him again.
