Read MoreWe had lots of good times and laughter with Bernie and Mary when we bowled, playing games, eating out and bible study, listening to the review of his notes from church sermons. We will certainly miss our times together and his friendship. He had such a kind heart and sense of humor. He was a great friend and always willing to help out.

I will never forget that Bernie taught me how to play Pyramid Solitaire at the dining room table of my wife Pam's Uncle Bill's and Aunt Wanda's home. I loved playing "Oh heck" card game with Bernie and Mary too. Bernie was quite competitive.
