thoughts and prayers to the lanz family.john wier

As the daughter of a Vernon Center native (Dick Avery), my childhood was filled with stories about Barney and the 'Lanz Boys'.

I had the pleasure to meet Barney about ten years ago; what a treat to meet the legendary man from all those stories I heard as a kid!

Prayers for the family as you grieve the loss of a great man yet celebrate his legacy. May the Lord surround you with peace and comfort.

To all the members of the Lanz and Brown family. My sincere condolences at the passing of a very great gentleman. Barney was my cousin for 68 years. He was a wonderful husband to Dede and a fine father to his 2 sons. I left Oneida 46 years ago and hadn't seen him in that time. As anyone who knew him knows he was a kind wonderful man. GOD be with you Barney and say hi to Stan and Leo for me.

Thank you Barney and all the Lanz family for being wonderful neighbors, friends and family. Lifetime of helping and caring for all. THANKS, all of the Wagner family.

Dede,Chip,Rick, and families sorry for you loss, my prayers are with all on the loss of a husband, father and grandfather. You all are great neighbors. One of my greatest memories was riding in the dump trucks.
