Not sure what to say?

A wonderful couple. Together again. I truly enjoyed seeing Bernard and his kind smile . What a caring gentleman and elegant wife. They were loving Christians and with our Lord now. You will be missed.

I grew up knowing them as Uncle Bernard & Aunt Dolly. No relation, just very close friends of my parents. They played cards together alot. I too, remember playing their organ & Aunt Dolly's treats after their card game was over. They were both so nice to me. My sympathies to the family, Uncle Bernard was a kind and wonderful man. I'm sure he will be missed by many. Sincerely Lynne Hill

Bernard was quite the gentleman. Always pleasant and concerned about us and our families. I only knew him for the last 4 years of his life, but I only wished I could have known him a lot longer.. Flying was his life's passion and he loved telling us stories about his past .adventures. He had a remarkable sense of humor that made our time with him fun. Two wonderful people, Dolly and Bernard Metz are now gone. They provided so much happiness to me from the time I was a child until my adult years. My fondest memories are of visiting with them - the picnics in their yard, and as a budding musician, encouraged to play music on Dolly's Hammond organ, and one will never forget Hartman's ice cream. They were always happy times in their presence.
