Not sure what to say?

Too soon they pass, but is good they are remembered and rest with the lord.

We met Bernie and Joe and their wives when they came to Vancouver, BC, for an accounting convention in the 1980s and looked up the name in the phone book. They called us, we met, and established that we were indeed related as our fathers were cousins. They subsequently contacted my sister in Queens, NY.

We had a lovely time with them, which we will always remember fondly. Our sincere condolences to the entire family on this loss.

Irving and Betty Nitkin

Poppie,
I love you so much. You and my husband Rob shared a great bond as did our son of 2.5 years old Bryson. I will always remember your messages to me and I will always look upward. Love you.
Your Grandaughter Marcy-"ya" xo, loving Rob, and our little man Bryson. Our Energetic, wild Toddler you were always astounded by. xo We miss you.

Bernie will be missed. I have very fond memories of him. He always made me smile. My condolences to the family.

Our sincerest condolences to the Nitkin family. Bernie was a long time patron of ours at our family restaurant, Sergio's. He was in sometimes twice a week for lasagna or manicotti, of course I never forgot the extra sauce! Will miss him dearly, always a pleasure to talk to.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Stella, Rena, Lino and the rest of the family.

Dear Joe and family...Mitch and I extend to you and your family our deepest sympathy in the passing of your brother Bernie...Joan and Mitchell Rodofsky

I knew Bernie only briefly but he was the accountant for my brother and his wife and Mother in Law for many years and they had nothing but good things to say about him. May he have eternal rest and peace. My heartfelt condolences to his family and his many friends.

MY condolences on your loss. Bernie was our accountant for the Hamden PBA and 1st Union for many years. He will be missed at the corner of Dixwell & Whitney

My Dad, Bob Fitzgerald and Bernie were friends who hung out at the Brownstone many a morning. Bernie advised my husband and I on starting a business, taxes and one relatively meager gambling win. I will always remember him fondly---he had a great sense of humor and was a wise person. My heart goes out to all.
