Not sure what to say?

Over a decade later, the family still shares great stories about Obie, now via "FAM-BAM", an email list for all family members to share past, current and future events. "That [obscure Boggle] word describes a part of a deer"!!!

Dear Jean and Family,
I was saddened to hear of Obie's passing. I worked with him throughout the entire Pioneer 10/11 program. Also, with his guidance, I put up the engineering model Pioneer at the Air and Space Museum. He was a great guy to work for.

To The Entire O'Brien Family:

Most people have no idea how lucky I am to have married into such a stable, loving, wonderful, and "fun" family.

P.S. The other "Outlaws", as we are known, TOTALLY understand. :-)

Love,
.

A good, good man!
B.J. was a fine man. I worked with him for a number of years as his H.R. Manager and I cannot recall any employee complaints against this good irishman. God love him!

Dear Jean,
what a wonderful life Obie has shared with you and your close knitted family. His legacy will play out as you enjoy more special times with your children and grandchildren. Love, Roger and Betsy

Dear Jean,
We were so sorry to learn of Obies
death. He was such a terrific guy and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Jean,
I am so very sorry. He was such a special person. I will always remember our times together at Wright Realty/Better Homes & Gardens and Las Madrecitas.

Dear Jean and family,
We are sadden to hear the news of Obie passing. We have great memories of you and him while you were part of our staff at Strong Realty. We always remember what a great dancer he was, and what a wonderful personality and outlook in life he had. He was wonderful to be around.
With deepest sympathy,

Not only a fine gentleman but the best boss I ever did have.
