To all of Bernie's family: I'm sure you will hear this many times but your Dad was such a special man. Not only was he a respected businessman, he was such a likable person with a huge personality and a pleasure to be around. What an amazing man, a wonderful mentor and a special family friend. Even as I got older, I looked forward to the trips to Chicago hoping to spend a little time with Bernie. A gentleman's gentleman, he always made my brother and I feel special, and through his actions and dealings with people he taught us so many valuable life lessons. My regret is that I didn't get to spend more time with him. I will miss him.
