Not sure what to say?

Pam,your Dad helped me through a pretty rough time 40 years ago and talked me into going back to Knox.He was a great guy.My 5th son Joe is starting Knox in a couple of weeks.I'd like to think that wouldn't happen had he not set me back on the right path.Sorry for your loss,He will be in my prayers.

The heart remembers most what it has loved best. May memories comfort you and bring you peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this most difficult time.

To all of Bernie's family: I'm sure you will hear this many times but your Dad was such a special man. Not only was he a respected businessman, he was such a likable person with a huge personality and a pleasure to be around. You couldn't have said it better in the obituary stating that he was a classy individual and a world class gentleman. One thing that was evident, Bernie loved his family. I met him many years ago at a conference along with my husband, Bill. From the moment Bill...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Loved and admired this man immensely. Nothing but kind words did he ever speak. He was and will remain in my heart as an "Awesome Uncle".

What an amazing man, a wonderful mentor and a special family friend. Even as I got older, I looked forward to the trips to Chicago hoping to spend a little time with Bernie. A gentleman's gentleman, he always made my brother and I feel special, and through his actions and dealings with people he taught us so many valuable life lessons. My regret is that I didn't get to spend more time with him. I will miss him.

We will miss our special friend so much. Please know your family is in our prayers.

To the family of Bernard Padgett may God give you comfort and peace by means of prayer - Philippians 4:6,7. My deepest sympathy
